The Horizon Room is where children begin their Montessori journey at Northern Lights Montessori Academy. Designed for ages 3–6, this warm, structured environment nurtures independence, confidence, and joyful learning through hands-on Montessori materials and a calm, predictable daily rhythm.

Children explore practical life, sensorial materials, early literacy, early numeracy, and social development within a mixed-age community that supports leadership and collaboration. The Horizon Room is fully potty-trained and developmentally aligned with Montessori’s Early Childhood philosophy.

Daily Schedule

• Core Day: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Before Care: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM

• Aftercare: 3:30 PM – 5:15 PM

The Aurora Room is a place of illumination, curiosity, and discovery. Rooted in Montessori’s cosmic curriculum, this classroom supports children in the second plane of development as they explore big ideas, deepen academic skills, and grow socially and emotionally.

Hands-on materials, individualized lessons, and collaborative projects help children build confidence, responsibility, and a love of learning.

The Summit Room represents the peak of the Montessori journey at Northern Lights Montessori Academy. Students develop leadership, independence, and mastery through advanced academic work, real-world projects, and community engagement.

This environment prepares students for middle school with strong executive functioning, communication skills, and confidence.

Summer Adventure Camp ends August 6. After a fun, energetic season, teachers will take time to rest and prepare thoughtfully for the upcoming school year.
